With a junior college at Basheer Bagh and an undergraduate college at Yousufguda, an International school is another feather in the cap of the management and a business school in offing, St. Mary's education society is all set to leave a mark in the field of Quality Education from Kindergarten to Post-graduation.

Cake Mixing Ceremony

St. Mary's Junior College, St. Mary's College Yousufguda & Sancta Maria International School came together on 13th December to usher in the Christmas Season. Festivity is in the air in this time of 'Advent', event at St. Mary's Educational Society.

Keeping up with the English tradition of cake mixing weeks before the Big Day, a cake mixing ceremony was organized in the campus of St. Mary's College, Yousufguda, Hyderabad. This unique ceremony was not restricted only to bakery kitchens, but celebrated along with all the members of the staff of all the three instutions under St. Mary's Educational Society.

Mixing of fruits and nuts with spirits is indeed a sight to cherish, Mountains of chopped raisins, almonds,pista, walnuts, blackcurrants, dates, cashews, tuti-fruity, cherries and more…flavoring spices and assorted spirits; this mix will be allowed to soak in the liquor till about 2 days before Christmas before it is transformed Christmas cakes.
The event was inaugurated by the Secretary Ms. Mary Reddy and all the staff members of all the 3 institutions participated in the ritual with much enthusiasm and cheerfulness and made definite memorable moments…
